Why are Air Optix Aqua lenses being discontinued?

As of September 30, 2021 all Air Optix Aqua products, including Toric (for Astigmatism) and Multifocal will be discontinued and replaced with Air Optix plus HydraGlyde®, a new lens developed by Alcon Inc.
