What's the difference between my current Air Optix Aqua lens that's discontinued and the new Air Optix Plus HydraGlyde® lens?

While the lens material and designs are identical, Air Optix Plus covers a wider sphere power range and features two technologies: SmartShield (which is also available in the Air Optix Aqua (discontinued as of September 30, 2021)) and HydraGlyde®. These technologies are promising longer lasting hydration and improved deposit resistance.
